A West Virginia fisherman set a brand new report just for it to be crushed in lower than two hours by the person proper by his aspect.
Lindell Marker and Dwight Priestley had been spending the day collectively fishing for black crappie — when the previous pulled out a fish giant sufficient to set the state report.
Marker and his fishing buddy had been out on Woodrum Lake on August 8 when the record-setting catches came about, Fox Carolina reported.

At 7:30 a.m., Marker was the primary to surpass the earlier state report in size.

The previous report was set by Craig Webb, whose black crappie measured 17.32 inches.
Marker’s report tied with Webb’s current weight report of two.85.
Simply over an hour after Marker set his new report, at round 8:45 a.m., Priestly reeled in a black crappie that surpassed each the present size and weight data, the media launch said.

Each fishermen used dwell minnows to realize their data — even when Marker held his report for under a short time.
These data even caught the eye of West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice, who shared his congratulations on “X.”
“I’m thrilled to have a good time this unprecedented fishing achievement and hope these new benchmarks encourage anglers from throughout to come back and discover West Virginia’s world-class fishing alternatives,” the governor wrote.

The lads’s fishing data had been verified by West Virginia DNR’s Fisheries Biologist Cory Hartman.
“These new data are a testomony to the unbelievable fishing alternatives at Woodrum Lake,” Brett McMillion, director of WVDNR, shared within the press launch.
