{A photograph} reveals a seemingly shocked seal within the mouth of a humpback whale, named Zillion, after the large marine mammal by accident scooped it up off the coast of Washington state.
A gaggle of sightseers bought greater than they bargained for on an tour with Blue Kingdom Whale and Wildlife Excursions on Thursday, Sept. 12.
The vacationers, who had been touring from Anacortes, Washington, had been monitoring Zillion throughout her feeding time within the Strait of Juan de Fuca and noticed the mammal almost swallow up a harbor seal that discovered itself between her razor sharp tooth.
“Throughout our full day tour on Thursday, we had a wild second when a humpback whale by accident slurped up a harbor seal! Naturalist Brooke captured the second,” Blue Kingdom Whale and Wildlife Excursions wrote on their Fb account.

The photographs captured the seal lurking in Zillion’s mouth after the huge whale breached the water’s floor and the smaller mammal was instantly caught up within the motion.
“Happily, the seal did have *some* luck on their facet, as Zillion rapidly observed the unwelcome dinner visitor and launched the seal accordingly,” the group famous.

In line with the Nationwide Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the seal wouldn’t be a part of Zillion’s regular food regimen, with humpback whales preferring to filter-feed on small crustaceans (largely krill) and small fish.
Folks on social media weighed in on the spectacular photographs, with people praising the “as soon as in a lifetime sight.”
